Stop LG&E Rate Increase

To:  Kentucky Public Service Commission

The undersigned Kentucky customers of LG&E/KU hereby oppose any rate increase to cover repair costs for the September 2008 windstorm. These German-owned utilities have neglected the good maintenance of lines and poles for years, and have only their own incompetence to blame for the massive losses incurred. They should not now receive a reward from utility rate payers for their bad job.

While we appreciate the employees of LG&E and the fine job the have done, we question EON and their practices. The men and women who work diligently night and day to restore power to this city and keep us running are not the target of this petition. We are dissatisfied with the international German conglomerate.
