Against Georgia House Bill 221

To:  Georgia General Assembly & Governor Perdue

We, the undersigned, urge you to revise and/or oppose House Bill 221. It is our belief that the bill is unfair and detrimental to the welfare of Georgia’s children. The bill as written does not represent an equitable formula. This bill will lower child support payments, increase the expenses of the custodial parent, and provide benefits unfairly favorable to the non-custodial parent.
