WE, THE UNDERSIGNED DISNEY FANS, feel that a 40-year absence is long enough and, with all the advancements in modern technology, it is not only time but feasible to restore our beloved HATBOX GHOST to his rightful place, among the cobwebs and dusty antiques, with Constance the cutup bride and the changing portraits of her air-headed grooms, in the attic of DISNEYLAND'S HAUNTED MANSION attraction. We believe that the re-materialization of Mr. Ghost would do for the Haunted Mansion what the addition of Jack Sparrow has done for Pirates of the Caribbean: spice up the ride with something new while rewarding park patrons with what they want to see. And we, the long-time fans and consumers of all things Disney, want to see The Hatbox Ghost. We've wanted to see him for a very long time! Please, restore The Hatbox Ghost immediately as a FULLY-FUNCTIONING AUDIO-ANIMATRONIC FIGURE with unique dialogue and corresponding movement in the attic of Disneyland park's Haunted Mansion attraction.
