Absurd (film) Uncut DVD Release

This petition is for Media Blasters to release an uncut DVD of the film Absurd by director Joe D’Amato.

Absurd the sequel/prequel to Joe D’Amato’s film Anthropophagus (a movie which has gained cult status by being put on the UK's 'video nasties' list). Media Blaster's Shriek Show put out the Anthropophagus DVD in 2006 in an uncut 2 disc DVD set. For this reason I believe that it is only right that Media Blasters/Shriek Show release its sequel/prequel Absurd (which was also on the 'video nasties' list) onto the DVD format.

Here is a brief list of what the DVD should accommodate:

*A fully UNCUT version of the film. Reason being that this film was hacked and butchered of its gory glory which is why it would be essential to release it with its gore intact.

*Remastered picture and sound. No one wants to see a video quality transfer.

*The films theatrical/video trailer. Not essential but it would be nice.

*Nice new packaging, as was done with the Anthropophagus release.

This film deserves a proper release and Media Blasters/Shriek Show has already shown that they can pull off these sort of releases. I believe Media Blasters/Shriek Show is the perfect candidates to take this on.
