The creators of Super Smash Bros Brawl are completely disregarding the fans in their decision to replace the folksey, lovable, cherished Heart Container model from past Smash Bros installments - taken, of course, from the best and most-loved game in the Zelda series - arguably the greatest Nintendo game of all time, if not video game period - the Nintendo 64 game, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Now, instead, we have the design from the most recent, sell-out entry in the seires. The only reason they did this was to advertise for the new game, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which is actually a pretty good game and you should buy it anyway. But the point of Super Smash Bros. is not advertising, it's nostalgia, and Majora's Mask is the foundation of all modern video games. Anyone who thinks this series should be used to promote recent titles is just as bad as people who play Smash Bros. like it's a real fighting game instead of having fun, because no one has fun playing real fighting games.

The game is pretty far in production, because it will come out in four days, but all they need to do is replace the file for the new model with the file for the old one - no reprogramming, or changing the balance of the game, or adding new animations. We believe that, because of this, the change can easily be made before the game goes on sale this Sunday.

Oh, and also it has not been revealed if Goldeen will be a useless pokemon again, but if so it should totally be switched to Magikarp, because that makes more sense since it can only use splash. And, like, tackle and flail if you don't let it evolve but that's stupid because Gyarados is awesome.
