Bail Out AAR!

To:  The Congressional Progressive Caucus (like John Conyers) and rich progressives like George Soros and Barbra Streisand

Air America Radio has recently declared Chapter 11, threatening to take this vital news and information source off the air. Please consider passing a bill that would give AAR the funds they need to continue operating and to repay their creditors.

In the past, Congress has bailed out other vital industries such as steel or the airlines, and what industry is more vital than communications, especially with the important information AAR provides?

AAR is the last, best hope for truly progressive radio and the only way for many of us to get the word out about the Bush crime family and the GOP! As every listener can assure, Randi Rhodes and Al Franken are more than worth they money their paid. Please listen to Sheldon Drobny! If you don't give them money, sites like BoreAmerica and Radio Equalizer will win!

Some of AAR's creditors appear to be low level employees there, with one owed $720 and another $200. They can't afford to fight for AAR's assets with the multi-millionaires that AAR owes money.

Plus, there used to be the Fairness Doctine. It's because that was repealed that now AAR is having so many problems. If that were still there they could enter new markets and buy stations with stronger signals and not have to compete against "Rush".

Please pass the bill or ask people like George Soros or Barbra Streisand or Michael Moore or even foreign leaders like Hugo Chavez to step in and help AAR out of their current problems.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
