LT COUNTY DURHAM - 4 PEOPLE IS NOT ENOUGH!

We, the London Transport Peterlee County Durham division are asking for your help.

For more than 9 weeks now, 4 of us, yes FOUR have executed a tough and extremely demanding role that requires a workforce of at least TWENTY. We have delivered and set up over 4,000 oyster terminals, juggled this with the daily task of selling bus passes to shops and in between all of this, acted as a Customer Service team. You might read this and think it sounds pretty straight forward, but when you consider that we do this for the whole of LONDON, it becomes pretty clear that this is a big ask that even Superman would struggle with. We need extra staff and we need them now.

We have made numerous internal appeals to get extra staff to help us, and recently, our first public appeal was rejected due to internal office politics.

We are stressed to bits and are considering strike action very soon.

FOUR PEOPLE ARE NOT ENOUGH - Wake up and smell reality!

PLEASE listen to us now, because pretty soon, there's going to be nobody to take these calls. Sort it out. Please show your love and support for this very worthy cause.

We are sick to death of our customers waiting for up to TWO HOURS on the phone. It's simply not good enough. We are getting the complaints and abuse because our management will not do the right thing and give us the staff. Keeping the money for their Christmans knees up is obviously more important than delivering a service to LONDON.
