The once-spectacular Hetch Hetchy Valley in Yosemite National Park is hidden under 300 feet of water. A twin to the famous Yosemite Valley,Hetch Hetchy Valley was flooded early last century, becoming a giant,billion-gallon water tank.

We, the undersigned, agree with John Muir, the "Father of our National Parks," that Hetch Hetchy Valley in Yosemite National Park "is a grand landscape garden, one of Nature's rarest and most precious mountain temples." Therefore, we petition the Secretary of the Interior to support the restoration of Hetch Hetchy Valley.
