Keep Lindsay In Llanview

We, the friends and fans of Catherine Hickland, wish to express our disbelief and upset over Catherine's role on 'One Life To Live' being reduced to recurring.

Since Catherine began her role as Lindsay Rappaport in 1998, she has consistently proven to be an immensely talented and greatly underappreciated actress. She suffered through less-than stellar writing, cast changes that affected her character, and the recent trend of concentrating on one or two "young" storylines and not producing a balanced show.

Catherine has been in the soap opera industry for over 20 years and has proved her worth time and time again. Recently, Catherine fans were promised there would be a great "Lindsay" and "RJ" love storyline. While we have been patiently waiting for this storyline to develop, we have been given Lindsay/RJ scenes once a week or less, and now, Catherine has been bumped to recurring.

Lindsay has gone through many changes, but is an integral part of the Llanview canvas. We ask that TPTB give us a story worthy of Hickland's talent and keep Lindsay in Llanview.
