Hidalgo Downs, LLC is proposing the development of a three quarter mile oval race track, rodeo grounds/concert venue, hall of fame and museum, and slots parlor to be located at the Hidalgo County Fairgrounds within the historic motel district in downtown Lordsburg. The intermingling of horse racing events and rodeo events would provide a distinct and focused effort directed at expanding the popularity of horse racing in New Mexico.

We the undersigned feel that this development concept would greatly enhance the horse racing industry in New Mexico and fully support the Hidalgo Downs proposal.
