Ebrahim Hamidi was 16 when he was charged of committing sexual assault with another male in Iran. He is 18 now. Two years have passed and his fate is undecided.An 18-year-old Iranian is facing imminent execution on charges of homosexuality, even though he is not gay and he has no legal representation. Ebrahim Hamidi, was sentenced to death for lavat, or sodomy, on the basis of "judge's knowledge", a legal loophole that allows for subjective judicial rulings where there is no conclusive evidence.

We cannot give him back those two years which he could've spent in studying further and dreaming for his future. On the other hand he has spent those two years in those torture rooms being tortured barbarically. But what we can do is to ensure that we tell IRAN that the whole world is watching their decision making. Because Ebrahim Hamidi is an innocent youth who wants to step into the world with his dreams, who is looking up the sky praying for help. We can listen to his prayers and if we cannot promise to answer his prayers ,the least we can do is to sign this petition and ensuring that Justice to be prevailed.

He is now awaiting hanging, despite his accuser admitting that he lied, and withdrawing his accusation of assault.
