Keep Drake Hogestyn on Days!

We, [the petition signers] are hereby declaring that we want Drake Hogestyn to stay on Days of our Lives.

Drake Hogestyn has been on DOOL for 17 years, giving his fans moments of joy and laughter, making us laugh and making us cry with him.

We sincerly hope you will realize what a mistake it was to let him go, and reconsider your decision.

Drake's acting talent is often underestimated, but he`s seduced us with his talent in scenes such as the famous tearjerker scenes "The Goodbye Dream" from 1987(Marlena says goodbye), The Pier scene [aka Marlena`s return] from 1991, the poison soup scene from Maison Blanche, the possession storyline from 1995 and John`s goodbye to Marlena and his children in Aremid in 1996. All of those are moments that can truly show an actors talent, or doom him. But Drake wowed us, making us cry and made us want to watch it over and over again.

His chemistry with his leading lady, Deidre Hall[Marlena], is pure brilliance, he is known as an all around fun and great guy, and when he`s given the right material he shines. This guy is insanely popular, so why let him go?

Drake has given us 17 years of joy, here`s to hoping for 17 more!
