Dear President Obama,

We the undersigned hereby take a stand against the persecutions and ongoing discrimination levied toward gay men and women, not only in the United States but worldwide. We will no longer stand for the abuses of our fundamental human rights, the same rights afforded to heterosexual men and women.

Get off the fence and introduce much needed policy change and shift of attitude we the gay population have been fighting for over the past few decades. Either you ban homosexuality outright and punish us gay men and women or you abolish this discrimination today. We've had enough of the luke warm attitude. The choice before you is simple, yes or no. Indecisive and half-hearted attitudes and beliefs weakens your administration.

We are not asking for our rights but demanding them. This is about human rights, our right to peacefully exist with everyone irrespective of race, creed or religion. Your administration has the power to bring about change and this change is needed now. End homophobia and policies which support it!
