Those few individuals opposed to House Resolution 111, the establishment of a House Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, have attempted to adversely and erroneously influence Congress, national veteran groups and others involved in the POW/MIA Issue to keep this bill from being brought to the House Floor for a vote. At present there are some 266 members of the House of Representatives who have signed on as co-sponsors of this resolution. That is 266 members out of 435 or over 60\% of the Membership of the House.
We the undersigned, Family Members of POW/MIAs from World War I, World War II, The Korean War, The Vietnam War, The Gulf War and other US military conflicts whole-heartedly support this resolution and ask that the truth be told. Congress needs to be aware of the fact that there are POW/MIA Family Members who have worked very hard to bring this resolution to the House and have a strong desire to see it become a reality.
*PLEASE, if you are not a family member, do not sign this petition. Instead, forward it on to a family member you know so they may have the opportunity to sign this petition.
Thank you.
