We Want Balanced Coverage of Hillary Clinton and Election 2008

Dear members of the media:

We are Hillary Clinton supporters who want balanced coverage of Election 2008. The media has a responsibility to be fair and accurate, but the energy and substance of Hillary's campaign is ignored in favor of biased coverage and sexist personal attacks. We supporters do not see our enthusiasm for Hillary reflected in the media, as if the millions of people who vote for Hillary Clinton are invisible. But we are motivated, we want change in this country, and we support Hillary Clinton because she is a phenomenal woman who would make a phenomenal president.

The most important job in the world is at stake. We, the American people, have a right to hear serious and insightful questions asked of both candidates. Yet Senator Obama is seldom asked the difficult questions; his rhetoric and idealism are left to stand alone, even though they are insufficient qualifications to be President of the United States.

Hillary Clinton supporters: if we do not speak up, we have only ourselves to blame. Let's not be silent anymore.
