On August 9, 2007, the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Town of Spencer, North Carolina unanimously approved High Rock Raceway's application for a Conditional Use Permit. We are in favor of the High Rock International Raceway. We believe that there are great benefits to having this track. And that nothing warrants stopping progress. The Mill site has never been on the National Historic Register of Deeds. The $20 million project will not require public money. The project will be completely funded with private money.
