Internet petitions are the bane of a person's existence, they breed incompetent morons who think they can "change the world" (Or, whatever the hell they think is important - It's not, if any of you are reading this)

They go and attempt to recruit the masses, only to irritate them and alienate themselves from the people they need so desperately to sign.

And what does the petition creator get from all that?

Some sincere signatures and a lot of ridicule, only for their goal to be ignored.
