Help Save the Library at Ai

Hello everyone! I've spoken with the president of the school today, and he has told me the computers aren't leaving the library. However that space is being taken away to make room for a classroom. This is still something we want to stop. A lot of you have commented on the spacing and how limited it is, and that is something we want to continue to fight for. I'm still encouraging all of you to tell others about this. Everyone keeps telling us that we have the biggest and best library out of all the Art Institutes, but that is no excuse to make us anything less than what we are. I think everyone who has signed, realizes that space is crucial and by removing a big chunk of our library, they are taking away space for new books and spaces to study. Further updates will be made to places like facebook and myspace, as well as through email. Please let me know what you think and what you want.

Help Save the Library's Computer Lab!

The EDMC, who owns our school, is trying to add an extra classroom, but in order to do that, they are taking away the Library’s computer lab.
Help save the computer lab in the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago-Library.
This is the only place where you can get color prints, use scanners with textbooks, use Digital Tutors, and get assistance with programs when needed. Also, it is the only all day open lab on campus.
