Help Bring Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai Back This July |
To: Balaji TelefilmsTo Ms. Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms
The following is a letter to Ms. Ekta Kapoor trying to explain to her how important her show Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai is for me and many around the world. I hope to prove that Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai still is one of the most loved shows around the world and that it should be back in July 2008.
"Dear Ms. Ekta Kapoor,
My name is Nikki Chahal and I am a student living in Canada. I love watching indian serials and my favourite is Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai. Now you may be wondering as to why i am writing to you. I am writing to you to get my favourite show back on air. Ever since Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai ended, my life is at a standstill. I feel like a part of my life has been stolen away from me. Life seems so dull and boring. Not one day of my life goes by without thinking about it. During school, life is very complicated and stressful. I barely have time for myself. But i never really cared about how hard my life was, because i knew that kyph was with me every step of the way. And that's all that mattered. The show taught me how to live. It made me believe in the most powerful emotion, love. Now i feel as if I am living today, just in the hope that kyph will be back someday. It's one reason why I want to live because I want to experience life the way Angad and Kripa did.
I realize the fact that i am one person and cannot do much to bring my favourite show back on air. However, there are so many people out there that want this show to come back. I know one girl that loved Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai so much that when it ended, she cut her veins and tried to end her life. With God's grace, she is okay now but she's still in a shock. But, it's not just about one girl. Everyone I know in Canada love this show immensely. I know it dosen't matter about what people think of this show, but i'm trying to make you realize that there are thousands of people out there that would love to see the blockbuster classic love story and our favourite made for each other couple Angad and Kripa again. I know that I do.
I understand that for you, this is just a business. Whatever is not making profit, needs to end. Therefore, i understand your reasoning that despite a heavy star cast of Iqbal, Neha, Hiten and Gauri, the TRPs are low. But are the TRPs all that matter? What about those thousands of crazy fans that can't live without watching their favourite show. Have you ever thought about what happens to them? And how it affects their life? By ending one show, your breaking so many hearts. Another thing you should not forget, is that at one point, Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai was the number one show in India.
Earlier, the story I told you about that girl who cut her veins for kyph, is true. But, i would like to point out that this is not just about one girl. Who knows how many unknown people actually died of this shock? I think that from now on, when you think of ending one of your popular shows, you should take the janta's opinion first. That would save you from alot of commotion and it will save people's lives.
Anyways, these are just some of my opinions, please don't take them to heart. I love Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai and i won't be at peace without watching it. If you visit many forums around the internet, you will see that Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai and it's characters, are extremely popular. I am part of www.india-forums.com, and if you visit that web site, you will see several die-hard fans of the show that wish for it to come back. I know I am going way past a viewer, but i truly love this show and can't bear the fact that it has ended and left us forever. Please Ms. Ekta Kapoor, take my plea into consideration before finalizing the fact that you want to throw it away from tellywood forever. There is still so much left in Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai.
I know that the time isn't the same anymore and tellywood has become very advanced. But, even after Kutumb ended, no one forgot their all time favourite couple Pratham and Gauri. And it's their fan's love and affection that have got these 2 stars so much success. And I know that kyph is remembered and cherished every day by thousands of people. Ms. Ekta Kapoor, you are a very renowned person and I doubt that you will be able to read my letter, however I put my case forward, and now the ball is in your court. Thank you and all the best in your future endeavours."
If you agree with me and would love to help get your show back on air, please support me in this fight to convince the producers of Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai, Balaji Telefilms, from giving us our favourite show back in July 2008. Please sign this petition for everyone out there who loves Kaisa Ye Pyaar Hai and yourself. Thank-you.
Sincerely,
