Petition for a National Database of Marriages and Divorces













We, the undersigned, propose to Congress: the House and the Senate to support this request and pass a law that will require All marriages and ALL divorces to be entered into a National Database.













This will ensure that the prevalent crimes of bigamy, fraud, embezzlement, and identity theft will be harder to commit against the people of this country, and the sanctity of both religious and civil unions will be protected.













We support the idea of a National Database for both marriage and divorces to help clerks in all counties across the United States that handle those records to make sure that information entered on a marriage application is truthful and accurate.













The undersigned appeals to their representatives to support and pass legislation to fund and operate a National Marriages and Divorces Database in order to uphold the laws of the United States.
