The CBC is threatening to get rid of the Hockey Night in Canada theme song. For many of us, its the first song we ever learned. It has stayed with us through our lives. It has comforted us on cold winter nights, and it has become our true national anthem. Future generations of Canadians deserve the opportunity to share in its musical legacy.
