Petitie impotriva lui Big Brother

To:  Guvernul si Parlamentul Romaniei; autoritatile locale

Protestam impotriva tendintei de a transforma Romania intr-o societate supravegheata de tip Big Brother. Cerem limitarea drastica a supravegherii video a cetatenilor de catre organele statului. Fiecare cetatean are dreptul la protejarea propriei imagini, atat in domiciliu cat si in spatiul public. In aceiasi ordine de idei, cerem interzicerea supravegherii video (sau prin alte mijloace) a locurilor publice aflate in aer liber (pe domeniul public), inclusiv a garilor, metroului, strazilor, soselelor etc. De asemenea, cerem interzicerea supravegherii video in gradinite, scoli, facultati si alte spatii educativ-culturale. Daca nu vor fi luate asemenea masuri, Romania va deveni un stat totalitar de tip Big Brother. Libertatea presupune riscuri; dar beneficiile unei societati libere sunt mai mari! Cine renunta la libertate de dragul 'sigurantei' le va pierde pe amandoua.
