Prevent live action shows from going onto Cartoon Network |
To: Cartoon NetworkThis petition is to stop live-action shows from going onto Cartoon Network after recent news came up that Cartoon Network has decided to go "Real". Not only it goes against the channel's name "Cartoon Network" but the fact is, real-life shows and childrens shows just don't mix together. Look at the Disney sitcoms, the acting on the shows are poor at best, it abuses on puns, and the lessons it tries to teach to it's kids just doesn't make sense. Not to mention that it often sends mixed signals to kids, like the lesson "Be yourself" that Hannah Montanna always teaches to it's viewers is instantly contradicted by the fact that the main character has a double life, therefore destroying the lesson altogether.
If Cartoon Network tries to do the same thing with it's upcoming shows, it will destroy Cartoon Network of any value and may possibly rid the world of good and even excellent animation shows for children. This petition is for Cartoon Network to realize that what they're doing is a mistake and that they should stay to cartoons, them doing real-life shows just fails miserably like they're live-action animation hybrid Out of Jimmy's Head.Sincerely,
