For several years now the glorious British summers of previous years have been nothing but a quickly fading memory. We have been faced with biblical downpours the likes of which will admittedly draw few complaints from the floral community but have interrupted so many cricket matches, barbecues, car boot sales, summer fetes and lovely days in the park that something has to give. Therefore, I ask you to join me in signing this petition to bring back real summers. United, the weather gods will have no option but to back down and give us sunshine.
