This petition has been created to right a horrible wrong.

The WWE "Hall Of Fame" boasts legends such as Hulk Hogan, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Andre The Giant, "Classy" Freddie Blassie, Buddy Rogers, Superstar Billy Graham and of course, Tito Santana. However, there is a glaring omission in this alleged "Hall Of Fame". Such a gross act of negligence has prompted me to use quotations around the term "Hall Of Fame", because it is simply a farcical notion without...

Kamala.

Jim "Kamala" Harris is one of the most, beloved, feared and respected men ever to set foot in a WWE ring. Kamala may not have captured the shiny trinkets the other WWE "Hall Of Famers" call "WWE Championship", but he spent his career draped in gold the world over. Who can forget his stint as Texas All-Star USA 6-Man Tag Team Champion?

Other "Hall Of Famers" can claim memorable victories over their most intense rivals. Kamala is no different. On October 4, 1986, Kamala defeated Lanny Poffo, a wrestling legend in his own right, before a vast audience as part of Saturday Night's Main Event. It was instantly heralded as Match Of The Year by most and skyrocketed Kamala to the top of the WWE ladder, putting him in prime contention for Hulk Hogan's championship.

Unlike most "Hall Of Famers", Kamala used his stardom not to bolster his own legacy, but rather to ensure the future of the wrestling industry. Let's face it. Without the hard-fought victories over Kamala at SummerSlam '92 and Survivor Series '92, The Undertaker would be little more than a footnote in the history books. Kamala not only made himself a wrestling legend, but did so for others as well. Can "Hall Of Famer" Antonino Rocca boast the same claim?

Still, Kamala's impact on the wrestling industry is not measured in titles or victories he secured, but rather in the hearts of wrestling fans the world over. After being rescued by the benevolent Reverend Slick, Kamala became one of the most endearing personalities in WWE history.

By no means should the impact of the inductees into the alleged "Hall Of Fame" be lessened in any way, by anyone. Each of those men and women deserve their stations as part of wrestling's rich and illustrious history and deserve to be commended for their accomplishments. However, by denying Kamala his rightful place among them, it is only a disservice to the WWE community of fans, as well as the inductees themselves, who know that the "Hall Of Fame" will never be a legitimate entity until the contributions of one Jim "Kamala" Harris are recognized.

The current "Hall Of Famers" deserve justice. The WWE fans deserve justice. Most of all, Kamala deserves justice.
