The City of Monessen, PA, has adopted an Ordinance that allows for the trapping and killing of all roaming cats on the streets of the City. Many of these cats are part of a Trap-Neuter-Return Program and are being cared for by City residents. Alley Cat Allies along with the newly formed Coalition For A Humane Monessen has asked for a Moratorium on the trapping and a meeting with City Council to discuss the benefits of TNR for Monessen. We are being ignored by the City. Please sign our petition if you agree that Monessen should not be killing our cats.
