Against Vertical Tutoring Reforms

To:  King George V School Leadership Board

Dear KGV Heads of Leadership, Departments and Student Body,

We have been notified the school has decided upon initiating the vertical tutoring groups next year. This is a petition against changing the tradition of having a form group and home room that belong within your year, and your year alone. We do not want a system we have known since the beginning of our years in this school to be destroyed, as we wish to stay within the form groups and refuse to change this. Remaining intact within our known form groups does NOT affect our education, and forcing us to leave our tutor and our peers within our forms to "socialize" and co-exist with students from another year at such close quarters would make us feel unnatural and could possibly hinder our education.

We ask you to eliminate the Vertical Tutoring program and leave us within our form rooms along with our friends and peers we have come to known.
