The officials at Giant Eagle headquarters have announced their intention to close the Cornersburg Giant Eagle located in the City of Youngstown. The Cornersburg Giant Eagle serves thousands of customers from Youngstown, Boardman, Canfield and Austintown areas. Additionally, it is within walking distance for many senior citizens and serves as an important part of the Cornersburg business district.

This petition serves as a collective statement of awareness and concern - directed toward the officials of Giant Eagle - regarding the importance of the Cornersburg store to the local community.
