We the residents of Somerset ask the Somerset Council to fully enclose the Kilcoy Heated Therapy Pool.

Our reasons are:

1/ The pool can then be used year round by residents needing to use the pool. The pool is frequently too cold to be in because of the wind factor even in warmer weather. Older residents and those with medical conditions cannot use the pool if it is too cold.

2/ There is a lack of privacy without an enclosure. Trucks pull up directly outside the pool and children and women particularly do not wish to be seen in togs directly from the street.

3/ The pool is a fantastic resource for those residents who wish to improve their health and wish to have access to a place where they can exercise comfortably and privately.
