We write you to protest the poor quality of guest analysts in your coverage of the recent events in Iran.
Individuals such as Reva Bhalla and Kaveh Afrasiabi consistently present themselves as biased, subjective and poorly informed, undermining the high standard of journalism we have come to expect from CNN.
Whether it's dismissing the unpopularity of the regime, downplaying the horrific nature of the government's crackdown, or branding the demonstrators as representatives of a limited social cross-section, many of the views put forth by these guests are misleading and contrary to evidence.
It would be a service to both CNN and the voiceless people of Iran if care were taken to incorporate more objective and credible analysis in your coverage.
