With the 20th anniversary of the original theatrical release of the family classic, "The Karate Kid" rapidly approaching (the film was released in 1984), we respectfully request both a theatrical re-release of the film, and a new DVD release that would bring to American audiences the extras contained in the DVD boxed set released in the UK in 2002.

This film is a surprisingly textured gem, and has maintained a substantial following through the years, as evidenced by the fan websites, fan fiction, and requests for out-of-print soundtracks that flood the web.

Please bring this wonderful piece of 80s nostalgia back to the audience that originally embraced it. Thank you in advance!
