We the undersigned petition the University of Kent to rethink the planned withdrawal of the LLB (Hons) Law course from the Medway campus.

We understand that the teaching style of online lectures combined with smaller, but longer, seminars offers some students a more suitable, flexible and personal approach to learning and that the provision of Law at Medway has allowed many students who would otherwise not have been able to study a university course to do so.

We note that the University of Kent is concerned about the students' reactions to the method of teaching in view of the rise in tuition fees, but we believe that there are better solutions for the University of Kent to pursue and petition the University to choose a solution that does not involve withdrawing the course from the Medway campus.
