End Dumb Penalties

To:  The Vancouver Canucks

We, the most humble purveyors of Orland Kurtenblog, on behalf of hockey fans all across British Columbia, hereby petition the Vancouver Canucks, an NHL team, to cease and desist with all ill-advised penalties that may in any way jeopardize the goal of a postseason berth in 2009.

Specific attention should be paid to the hooking and holding offences that the NHL has been strictly enforcing since the conclusion of the work stoppage in the summer of 2005.

Henrik Sedin, we’re looking at you.
