Lets Lower the Limit

Every year, hundreds of pets and wild animals are killed on our roads. Not only in towns but in the rural roads especially. Car accidents are also high on the list, with many killed or severly injured. Although the speed limit is 60mph on roads in the united kingdom,(excluding motorways and dual carriageways) We, the following, beleive that this is too high. Too many people drive carelessly or dangerously on these roads but the problem is they are not officially breaking the speed limit. THIS is why it needs to change. Lets try to make our roads safer; not only to us and our children, but to our pets and the wild animals out there. If people cannot drive sensibly and cautiously on rural roads, its time the speed limit was lowered to 50mph.
