Left4Dead 2 - Disable Annoying Visual Cues/Indicators

To:  Valve Software & Left4Dead 2 Team

Dear Valve Software & the Left4Dead 2 Team:

We would like you to give us, the gaming community, the option in both the PC and XBOX 360 versions of Left4Dead 2 to disable all those annoying visual indicators/cues such as “Help Francis up!” or “Don’t startle the Witch!”

…we know how to play the game, let us enjoy it for what it is rather than push the idea that we’re a dumb bunch who needs to be reminded how to pick up a fallen friend. Thank you.
