We, the undersigned, are signing this petition in protest of GMs reduction in dealerships across Canada. While we understand that a business needs to be profitable in order to continue operations, we disagree completely with the method GM has chosen to close dealerships. We believe in free enterprise, and that WE (your customer base) and the independent franchised dealers should have the right to have our voices heard.

We specifically are in opposition to the possible closure of the two GM franchises operated by Craig Lanoue in Tilbury, Ontario. The closure of these dealerships would result in the inability for us to continue to enjoy the unprecedented sales and service we have received over the years. The reason we come to Tilbury is the outstanding customer service we receive and as we understand it, General Motors has recognized this attribute as well, having awarded it their prestigious Triple Crown 11 times.

We understand Craig has agreed to terminate the Andre Lanoue Pontiac dealership because of the Pontiac brand being eliminated. However, it is our desire to ensure that Craigs other dealership Lanoue Chevrolet remains open in order to allow us to continue doing business with General Motors product.
