LAUNDROMAT FOR ROOSEVELT ISLAND RESIDENTS

The Eastwood residents of Roosevelt Island can not do their laundry because there are not enough machines for us to use or enough time allowed for us to do so. Starting June, the hours of the laundry rooms will be cut -again, to even less hours-making it even more difficult for us. We live in a civilized city, how can hundreds of residents only have access to between 7:30 am - 7:30pm?? We are working people and most of us return to work after 7:30pm.
We are signing this petition to request 24hr of laundromat availability and more machines as there are hundreds of residents in Eastwood and doing laundry is always an incredibly stressful issue.
