Petition to Expedite Visa Number for Bryan Laue |
To: U.S. Department of Homeland SecurityA Sense of Belonging
After waiting many years to receive Bryan's Green Card to no avail, we request that Bryan Laue be given a Visa Number leading to a Green Card before April 8th, 2008.
We request this due to the predicament that Bryan faces possible deportation and a status of being unable to further pursue his goals in the United States of America. His goals include: going to college to achieve a Bachelors of Commerce, receiving a driver's license, and working.
This petition is to show America the injustices of the laws set up for immigration and the acceptance as a Permanent Resident of this, The United States of America. We hope that our son, Bryan Laue, will be able to continue to live in the United States with his family with the opportunity to move at will, or stay at will.
Bryan Laue has been given an alternative of leaving 180 days after his 18th birthday without receiving any penalties. If he stays after the 180 allotted days, he will be barred from the U.S.A. for 3 years. If he leaves after his 19th birthday, he will be barred for 10 years. We do not wish to have him have only one ultimatum. We hope that his Visa Number will be granted before the 180 days have passed.Sincerely,
