Rafa treated shockingly, please re open talks with D.I.C and leave LFC

George Gillett and Tom Hicks,



This petition is on behalf of all those who feel that Rafael Benitez has been treated shockingly, and Mr Hicks and Mr Gillett sell, sort out a meeting with D.I.C, who clearly want to buy you out, take your money and go. This situation needs resolving now. We as loyal fans deserve better than the back stabbing, the detrimental stories leaked to the press and the way you obviously DON'T know anything about the history of our club. Benitez is Liverpool's best manager since Bob Paisley and is irreplaceable.



Why even talk to Jurgen Klinsmann?



What has he done in club management?



Do you honestly think going behind Rafa's back was in the interest of Liverpool FC?



Do you think the fans would welcome another manager with open arms?



Do you now think that this latest bust up, with the inclusion of the Rick Parry story, could be the final straw for Rafa? And could you then cope with the fans backlash? The players that could follow him?



These questions need answering.



In three seasons Benitez has taken Liverpool to two Champions League finals, a League Cup final and an FA Cup final, and currently in the semi final of this years Champions league, a better record than either Wenger or Ferguson in their early years, we believe he will bring us the title, something Liverpool fans have craved for a long time.



Rafa leaving would almost certainly have a detrimental effect on the club. We would have to find a new manager, who will need time to adapt and recruit new players that suit his style, which could cost years of progress. And, despite all of this, he is still unlikely to be as tactically astute as Benitez.



Benitez is a huge asset to Liverpool, more so than than Mr Hicks and Mr Gillett, and any club in the world would be delighted to have him in charge of their team. It's not Rafa who should go its you, so we ask you again, you will make a massive profit for the time you have owned our club so please sell to D.I.C so we can all move on.
