We respectfully encourage the Nominating Committee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to induct Link Wray.

Link is a founding father of rock and roll. He has influenced countless numbers of musicians the world over - including Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Pete Townshend.

During his career, Link has met or played with everyone from Patsy Cline to Bruce Springsteen. Unlike many of Link's contemporaries of the 1950s he has not settled for playing the oldies circut. Link has continued to stretch the bounds of rock and roll.

Link is almost 74 years old. Forty five years since his first million selling hit "Rumble" - Link is still playing rock and roll to fans all over the world
