Lionhead Studios is famous for games such as the Fable series. The first installment of the series was released for Xbox in September 2004, and grew to sell over two million copies by 2007. Since then, they have released Fable: The Lost Chapters, which was an extended version of the first game. With the skyrocketing popularity of the two versions, designer Peter Molyneux announced Fable 2 in 2006. The much anticipated sequel was released in October 2008.
Upon its release, gamers everywhere rushed out to get their hands on a copy. Several became extremely disappointed, having spent approximately $60 only to experience severe bugs in the game, including, but not limited to:
-Random freeze points, making further gameplay impossible
-Corruption of files when trying to save, losing saved data
-Crashing of the entire Xbox 360 console
It is hopeless trying to get your money back from a retailer once the game has been opened, and it would be a violation of federal law for them to exchange it for another game. The only option would be to exchange it for another copy of Fable 2, and as many of you have probably found out- that doesn't always solve the problem. The issue does not lie within the Xbox console; this is a HUGE ERROR in the game itself.
If you are one of the many who have been extremely appalled with the rampant bugs and glitches in the game, you know exactly how frustrating it is to spend $60 on a worthless piece of junk that doesn't live up to even minor expectations.
Please sign, to let Lionhead, Peter Molyneux, & the rest of the development team know that it is completely unacceptable to release a game with such grave errors, and that you refuse to put your trust in their name. Let them know that you will boycott any and all of their products until this issue is resolved in its entirety.
