Bring Back Bullseye

This petition is to demonstrate the demand for a new series of the classic ITV series Bullseye. Bullseye became a family favourite during the 1980’s and early 90’s in which three pairs of contestants consisting of one dart player and one non-dart player would compete over three rounds of entertaining darts competition and general knowledge questions. The winning contestants would walk away with fantastic prizes such as speedboats while the runners-up won a ‘bendy bully’ each which was a toy version of the show’s hilarious bull mascot. However, the star of the show was without doubt host Jim Bowen. Jim has got to be the best possible host of a game show ever. Who can forget his classic catchphrases such as: "Stay out of the black and into the red, nothing in this game for two in a bed." And of course "Look at what you could have won."

Repeats of Bullseye are currently being shown on Challenge TV which has rekindled an interest in the show for huge numbers of fans including Radio 1 DJ’s Colin & Edith who have been reminiscing about the show for the its current fans and generating an interest for newer fans. Bullseye has also been mentioned by comedian Peter Kay in his sell-out stand up tour.

Hopefully with enough signatures this petition should persuade ITV to film another series of this classic show.
