Ban on unlicensed dog & cat breeding

To:  U.S. Congress

We, the undersigned are in full support of a ban on unlicensed breeding of cats and dogs. And support a law requiring all animals sold to unlicensed and/or unregistered breeders be spayed or neutered prior to sale of the animal. We believe that only licensed breeders of cats & dogs, such as AKC UKC and CFA should be allowed to breed. Due to the overwhelming irresponsibility of some pet owners our shelters are filled with unwanted or abused animals. Most of these animals destined to be destroyed. It has become an epidemic in this country and laws need to be put in place to end needless suffering.
