Cirque du Soleil in Romania!!

Oameni din Romania!

Am intrat intr-o noua perioada, cea a unui nesfarsit lant de spectacole: intr-un timp foarte scurt, am avut parte - printre altii - de The Rolling Stones, Scorpions, Metallica, Depeche Mode, Tori Amos, Apocalyptica, George Michael, Al Di Meola, Paco De Lucia, Jethro Tull; au sa vina Muse (in 2-3 saptamani), Yngwie Malmsteen (speram), U2 (foarte probabil), si asa mai departe. Asta ca sa nu amintim spectacolele si concertele care au avut loc inainte să intrăm in UE sau artistii care au concertat in diverse festivaluri (Michael Jackson - 1992 & 1996, Faithless, The Dandy Warhols, Marilyn Manson si lista poate continua).
Acum, toata lumea a auzit cel putin o data in viata aceste trei cuvinte: "Cirque du Soleil". Multi au o idee ce reprezinta ele, unii nu au. Putinii norocosi au văzut probabil 2-3 spectacole iar cei mai norocosi au fost poate si la o reprezentatie live, din care nici una nu a avut loc in Romania. si nu, nu e doar muzica, sau dans, sau acrobatii, sau reprezentatii de circ - ar fi o greseala imensa sa avem o astfel de idee ingusta. Cred ca Cirque du Soleil este de fapt o experienta formidabila la care nu esti doar in public, ci pe care o traiesti si o simti. Cirque du Soleil este de fapt format din toate artele lumii care pot trai pe scena si care sunt puse laolalta intr-o experienta care iti ia mintile.
Asa ca aceasta este o petitie scrisa si trimisa celor de la Cirque du Soleil, precum si Presedintelui Romaniei si companiilor Orange Romania si Vodafone Romania, pentru a avea Cirque du Soleil in Romania!
Va rog, semnati-o si sper sa fim cu totii martori ai ceea ce probabil este unul din cele mai mari spectacole din istoria omenirii!

People of Romania!

We have entered a new era, the one of an endless convoy of shows in town: in a very short while, we hosted - among others - The Rolling Stones, Scorpions, Metallica, Depeche Mode, Tori Amos, Apocalyptica, George Michael, Al Di Meola, Paco De Lucia, Jethro Tull; incoming Muse (2-3 weeks away), Yngwie Malmsteen (hopefully), U2 (most probably), and so on. This, to leave out the shows and concerts that have taken place before we entered the EU or the artists that performed during several festivals (Michael Jackson - 1992 & 1996, Faithless, The Dandy Warhols, Marilyn Manson and the list can go on and on).
Now, everyone has heard at least once in their lifetime these three words: "Cirque du Soleil". Many have a clue of what they stand for, some do not. A few lucky ones probably have seen two or three shows, and the most fortunate ones have been to a live performance, none of which has taken place in Romania. And no, it's not just music, or dance, or acrobatics, or circus performances - it would be a huge mistake to have such a narrow opinion. I believe that Cirque du Soleil is in fact a formidable experience that is never attended, but lived and felt. Cirque du Soleil is all the world's arts that can be alive on scene put together in one mind-blowing performance.
So, this here is a petition form written and sent to Cirque du Soleil, as well as to the President of Romania and Orange Romania and Vodafone Romania, for having Cirque du Soleil in Romania!
Please sign it and hopefully we will all witness what probably is one of the greatest shows in the history of mankind!
