Lower Federal Income Tax

The current economic crisis will not be solved by passing huge spending bills. The only solution is to get more money into people's pockets. The more money people have, the more they will spend, the more money spent means more goods or services needed, and that means more jobs will be available. Therefore:



We, The People of the United States of America, request that Congress lower the federal income tax by fifty percent for four months, to be raised ten percent every two months thereafter until it has returned to the current level.
