Petition to install a four-way stop at Lairds Crossing

Members of the Zetus Volunteer Fire Department, as well as of the Lincoln and Franklin County area and surrounding communities, do hereby petition the Mississippi Department of Transportation and our legislative delegation to do anything within their power to see that the serious and often fatal traffic accidents that occur at the intersection of Highway 84 and Jackson Liberty Drive are prevented in the future. We ask that every safety precaution possible, regardless of cost, be taken at this intersection that has caused so much loss of life, health and property.
