We, the fans of the classic television series "Perry Mason" are petitioning that the series be released on DVD season by season, uncut and unedited, as it was originally broadcast on CBS from 1957 to 1966. Scores of other classic TV shows are currently being released by several other major studios, and we feel that a show of this caliber is more than worthy of DVD release. Popularity should not be a concern; "Perry Mason" is enjoyed (but poorly edited) in syndication throughout the country and airs twice a day in Los Angeles alone (3 times if you count the Hallmark Channel run). The Columbia House releases are simply inadequate. They're far from being complete and are very unreasonably priced. Releasing the entire "Perry Mason" series on DVD would be a win-win situation: A profitable venture for your studio and a delight for the countless fans of the show.
