Willie MacRae Inquiry

The mysterious death of Glasgow lawyer Willie MacRae has raised many questions to which there have been no satisfactory answers provided. The circumstances surrounding his death should have led to a mandatory Fatal Accident Inquiry, but instead have met with State obstruction at all levels. These events have created a justifiable public concern.

In light of this we, the undersigned, call upon the Scottish Ministers to instigate a full, and open, Public Inquiry into this incident. We believe that 20 years on from Willie MacRae’s death this public concern has not dissipated and that a Public Inquiry is the only credible means to establish the truth in this case.
