Maintain original Watchmen ending

To:  Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder

We, the fans of Watchmen, demand that the original ending of the graphic novel involving the fabricated threat of an extraterrestrial being be kept in the movie or at least be given an alternate "DVD" ending.


- We feel betrayed, after supporting Zack and his vision for the movie, to find out that something as fundamental to the story as the end has been so incredibly changed.

- We understand that changes must be made to adapt the story to adapt to a different medium such as film... however, to radically change the ending of one of the most cherished graphic novels ever made to what some Hollywood screenwriter hocked up is incredibly disrespectful.

- We are the ones who support the movie, watch it multiple times, bring friends, hype it up, explain the trailer to non-connoisseurs, buy merchandising, etc. With a risky, unconventional rated R (limited audience) movie such as this... you NEED our support. And we WANT to give it to you... just please respect the original ending.

- Do not make us mad.
