We the undersigned, as Manowar fans and brothers of metal, hereby begin this petition with the intent of convincing Manowar to once again play the UK.
We hope that Manowar will see this as a testament to the strength and sollidarity of the UK fans, who have waited so long for their favourite band to return to these shores.
It is only just that the band who released an album entitled
"Hail to England" should bring their utterly unique and inspiring music to the
land that was their home, when the American music press didn't 'get' what they
were saying so many years ago.
